Start with the parking spot, not the mailing address.
An automotive locksmith in Newark may be sent toward EWR, Newark Penn Station, a surface lot near the Prudential Center, a residential garage, a repair shop, or a curb along Ferry Street. Do not try to pull the top of the door away with improvised wedges or coat hangers. Modern doors carry weather seals, wiring, airbags, glass, and trim. A small access problem can become an expensive leak, warning light, or bent frame.

Have photo ID, registration, insurance information, title, rental paperwork, fleet authorization, or another reasonable form of proof. If the registration is locked inside, mention it during the call. A company vehicle may require approval from a fleet manager. Ask which functions are included: door entry, trunk access, mechanical emergency blade, remote lock and unlock, proximity recognition, and engine start. Test every included function. If another working key exists, test it too. Count the credentials that should remain authorized.
